So while everyone sits waiting patiently for the upcoming Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.0 update to arrive which will introduce true multiplayer functionality to the game via Minecraft Realms, there is other features coming with the update, one possibly being the arrival of Buckets finally.
If you've been following our coverage of the upcoming update, then you should be well familiar with what is heading our way. Now you can add Buckets to that list although we have to state that it isn't 100% confirmed yet. The reason we say this is that it could be a joke Jeb was making as well referring to Bukkit. For those of you not in the Minecraftworld on PC, Bukkit is a type of server software people use to host Minecraft servers.
However, Buckets have been added to the official Minecraft: Pocket Edition update thread on the Minecraft Forums and so far that thread has never been wrong. So it looks like we will finally be getting the ability to use buckets soon. For those of you who keep asking, the update won't be arriving until late April at the earliest but most likely won't arrive until the first week of May 2013.
On a side note, Mojang has released a new Minecraft: Pocket Edition trailer finally as well which you can watch in the video above.
